Ferran Fall Indienne Collection

Ferran Fall Indienne Collection

Our new Indienne collection for Fall 2016 is inspired by the French style of textile patterns made in France around the 18th century which resembled painted textiles originally made in India, Armenian merchants first introduced Indian textile printing techniques at the port of Marseilles.

Our hand-painted patterns are printed on 100% linens and cottons and the collection includes 3 new patterns, Perse, Palampore and Marseille.

Anatomy of a print : Tiger Shell

I'm asked all the time what inspires me when designing patterns or choosing colors. This one is pretty straight forward, the tiger shell for our "Scapes" Collection. The design was created by marker on tracing paper.
